These days are available for groups and individuals - they must be prebooked.
Each day can be tailored to the needs of the group or individual
Some examples:
Donkey Owner Experience Day
Have a donkey for the day ; catch him, groom him, learn how to feed him, take him out for a trek to give him the exercise he needs. Once you have been assigned your donkey for the day you can spend as much time with him as you like.
£65 per person per half day . £110 per person full day (includes a light lunch)
Education Days
These days can be tailored to small school groups, groups with disabilities whether adult or children , young or old. The agenda for these days can be devised in conjunction with the organisation bringing the group. We can also arrange to bring donkeys to your location - please call to discuss.

Family and Friends Days
You can come and hire the donkeys for your family for the day and we can again tailor make a session for you . All under 14's must be supervised at all times.
Prices vary on amount of time required to spend with donkeys and how many of you there are.
Trekking Days
Come and walk over the hills and woodlands bordering Dyfi Donkey Wood guided by Louise and in the company of a donkey or two. A unique way to experience the beauty of the Welsh countryside and the pleasure of walking with a donkey. These days require a degree of fitness from participants as terrain will be uneven in parts and also up and down hill , the majority over bridleways and bye ways.

We are available the first week of april when our kids are out of school. are there any days available for an experience? we live in Machynlleth are staying until end of april but can't come any other time as we are committed to other activities already. DeleteSorry for the delay in replying. As Easter is one of our busiest times and we are working full time on the beach and at the open day Experience days are not available. If you have specific requirements it is best to phone and discuss these. We will be running two open days in the Easter holidays which may be the most appropriate for you and your busy family. These will be on wed 4th and 11th April. We open at 11 and close at 4.
